A registered nurse and AHPRA member, Alexa has over 9 years’ experience nursing – and is passionate about skin and using her skills to help people feel happy in their own skin. With extensive training across all types of cosmetic injectables, Alexa is qualified by both Galderma/QMed and Allergan, and experienced in the art of PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy. A firm believer that ‘less is more’, Alexa takes a holistic approach to her work, always mindful to enhance her clients’ natural beauty. A proud Mumma, Alexa lives with her husband, two year old boy and newborn son along with their beloved fur babies in their gorgeous sanctuary home in the Hinterland.

 
 

Emma Walker

Clinic Nurse/Injectables Manager

Emma’s clients can feel comfortable and confident in her eleven years experience as a registered nurse and midwife. Emma’s care is holistic, backed by expert knowledge in nutrition and brought to life through her personable and kind nature. Originally from the United Kingdom, Emma fled gray skies 8 years ago for the sunlight of Sydney where she owned and operated her own small aesthetics company. Qualified with Allergan and Dermemedical. She is experienced in Botox, fillers, PRP and PDO threads. A recent sea-change has brought her to Byron Bay where she is inspired to make clients feel their most beautiful. Emma holds a BSC Hons in Midwifery and has cared for many women during pregnancy and birth. As a passionate advocate for Women’s Health, Emma has a deep understanding of hormones, pregnancy and lactation. Emma tailors her bespoke appointments to suit the needs of each and every client. It is her ambition to make all women feel beautiful, brave, powerful and confident.

 
 

Charlotte Lord

Clinic Manager/Dermal Therapist

Charlotte comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Originally from Wellington, New Zealand and most recently Melbourne, where she resided for the past 9 years.
Charlotte trained as a Beauty Therapist in NZ then embarked on her journey to Melbourne where her passion for skin and Dermal therapies began. Previously working at a reputable Skin clinic in Melbourne for the duration of 7 years as a Dermal therapist coupled with a Managerial role where she acquired a valuable insight into all Aspects of running a busy clinic and treating difficult skin conditions. Customising and tailoring treatments depending on clients health and needs was a strong focus of hers.
With a pull towards nature and the slower pace that Byron life brings, Charlotte was immediately drawn to Aesthetica which reflects a warm and calming environment with a unique approach to skin health, incorporating holistic therapies which aligns with her philosophy for life. Charlotte believes your internal health, mind body and soul reflects your external world. Her focus is on Restoring and preserving the skin whilst connecting with her clients to truly understand their focus and goals. Training with Dermaviduals long before she started with Aestheticà, Charlotte is a firm believer in the way Dermaviduals customises, supports and adapts to the skin whilst protecting and preserving the skin barrier.
Charlotte’s less is more approach, building slowly from the inside out, she supports her clients in feeling relaxed, nurtured and confident within their own skin.

 
 

Amy Broderick

Dermal therapist

Amy, originally from Ireland, made the leap to Australia in 2014 following a globetrotting stint as a facialist and body detox therapist on a cruise ship. Since putting down roots in Australia, she has thrown herself into advancing her expertise in skin therapy, with a specific focus on the holistic treatment of hormonally challenged skin. With experience in spa management and a track record of guiding teams, Amy's primary goal is to ensure her clients leave her care feeling confident, rejuvenated, and completely at ease. In addition to her skincare talents, Amy is a certified yoga teacher, deeply passionate about the profound impact yoga and meditation can have on the mental and physical well-being of women.

 
 

Parker Layton

Dermal Therapist/Cosmedic tattooist

Parker started her career journey at the age of sixteen, studying her diploma whilst working at a local skin and beauty clinic in Lennox Head. She completed an apprenticeship over two years and developed a passion for skin health, brows and lashes, along with client pampering. She deepened her knowledge in skin physiology when she worked closely with the clientele at The Luxe Beauty Co in Casuarina. Seeing many people as well as herself experience barrier disorders, had her intrigued with the concept of Corneotherapy and its gentle, unique approach. Since entering the Aesthetica family in September 2020, Parker has experienced a dramatic change in her skin and has helped her clients start on their own journeys with Dermaviduals and in-clinic treatments. She has a deep love for people and ensures her clients are not only left feeling educated and confident, but well pampered with all their needs met.


 
 

Bonnie Marsden

Dermal Therapist


Meet Bonnie - a highly skilled beauty therapist with a decade of experience in the industry. From a young age, she developed a deep admiration for beauty and skincare while observing her mother's nurturing and compassionate approach during beauty treatments. These formative experiences have greatly influenced Bonnie's approach as a therapist. Originally hailing from Terrigal on the beautiful Central Coast, Bonnie has honed her expertise by collaborating with esteemed professionals and industry leaders at Skinmedics Clinic in Pyrmont, Sydney. As a valued member of her family's business, she has been dedicated to the art of enriching, rejuvenating, and healing the skin since the tender age of 16. Beyond her technical proficiency, Bonnie has a genuine passion for connecting with clients and helping them restore their confidence and well-being. She firmly believes that true beauty encompasses not just the external appearance, but also a holistic approach to personal and mental growth. She understands that maintaining overall wellness and embracing a holistic, mind-body approach is essential for optimal functioning.

 
 

Hannah Pogrund

Administration Assistant

Supreme organiser, Hannah is Super passionate about health, wellness and beauty. With a wealth of knowledge under her belt Hannah has been studying nutrition for the past 3 years and looking to graduate in this field next year. Hannah was drawn to the science behind corneotherapy and the holistic nature of Aesthetica which is what appealed to her most. Being in a position where she can and draw on her knowledge of internal health and link it through to skin conditions and concerns to create tailored prescriptions.

Hannah is passionate about womens health and wanting to build a career around making women feel their best inside and out whilst addressing the internal factors that can be causing ill health, especially relating to skin concerns. 

Hannah is the perfect link to internal health here at Aestheticà and has recently returned to Uni full time to complete her studies in Bachelor of Health Science where she will be able to lend her skills as our in house Nurtitionist next year.

Gee Preston

Social media Manager

Gee currently leads up our Social Media & Creative Content platforms. Our creative tomboy, wife and Mother, is a jack of all trades and likes to keep things current and engaging.

Gee brings a diverse range of experience to the clinic. New Zealand born and trained, then furthering her career in Melbourne and the UK. Gee aquires strong attributes for the holistic approach to living.

If you see a post on Insta or Facebook its most likely that shes the brains behind it. With a comprehensive background in both Dermal therapies and Design, Gee likes to keep her fingers in both pieces of the pie. Her experience in design and styling lends itself to the creative content roll within Aesthetica. With a strong knowledge of Dermaviduals and skin she is able to deliver information to our clientele in a informative and relatable voice. 

 
 

Dr Edwina Morgan

Medical Aesthetic Practitioner

As a Member of the Australian College of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr Edwina is recognised as a highly trained Medical Practitioner. She is known for providing only the highest standard in quality care. With years of mentorship of many national and international specialists, Dr Edwina is experienced in the latest cosmetic techniques. Now she shares her expertise as an accredited trainer for Silhouette Soft Thread Lift. After completing a Bachelor of Science at UQ and Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery at Bond University, followed by three years training in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Edwina moved into the area of cosmetic medicine. As a medical practitioner, Dr Edwina is passionate about women’s health. Driven by her work in the obstetrics and gynaecology field, studies in women’s health, and her cosmetic expertise, she takes a holistic view of her guests’ health and wellbeing.

Dr Michaela Rickcord

Consulting Doctor

Originally from Austria and now local to Northern NSW, Dr Rickcord has practiced in Australia for a decade. She has been a local GP for a number of years and brings her vast experience and knowledge to the Aesthetica team to oversee the cosmetic work at the clinic.
